A New Website Experience

Experience the B-Y.com difference!

The all-new B-Y website includes all the great functionality of the previous site, along with a streamlined navigation, enhanced search, and fewer clicks to order the products you need.

At Behler-Young, we take customer feedback seriously. That is why we focused on improving the eCommerce experience with functionality that will deliver better results. Here are the new features developed to make it easy to find products on b-y.com quickly and improve your overall shopping experience with B-Y.

Here are a few of the enhancements you will experience on behler-young.com (b-y.com)

Simplified Navigation 

We streamlined the navigation on b-y.com, now featuring a single navigation bar. This will greatly improve the ability to shop by brand or product category, as well as find resources needed in the field. The product categories will be grouped with like products, alphabetically, making it easy to search through a broad group of products. 

Active Products First 

The new site platform will default to current products first.  While we will continue to host critical information, documents, and manuals on obsolete products, these products will not be included in the search when first logging onto the site but can be searched with a simple toggle button. 

Enhanced Search Results 

Search is frequently utilized to find products and will be moved to be highly visible on b-y.com.  The new search feature will include common HVAC terminology, product and category filters, and a new unit of measure definition that will return consistent results regardless of the type of measurement searched (ex., inches, inch, ").    

Seamless Invoice Payment System

The new invoice manager is re-engineered, creating a seamless payment process.  Now you can easily see all invoices for online and offline orders, select specific invoices to be paid, and complete the payment process in one step.  The new features were designed to simplify your day, helping you to manage the business.

New Website Updates:

• To login to your online account, simply enter your username and select "FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD". This will activate a password reset which is required, and a best practice to protect account privacy.
• Account permissions will provide more flexibility.  There will be four user roles available on the new site.  Existing users will automatically move to their new roles for the relaunch. To manage roles, here are the distinctions for each permission that can be changed on the User Administration menu under your login on the upper right corner.
• ADMINISTRATOR – Add / remove team members from the account.  This is the only permission available to an Administrator. 
• INVOICE MANAGER – For individuals that need to review invoices or pay bills online, this is the permission that will grant access.
• BUYER – When ordering products is a key part of your team member’s role, add Buyer to their permissions and they will be able to purchase products on b-y.com or on the B-Y App.
• SHOW PRICING – This permission provides the user with visibility to product pricing for the account.  If you don’t want a team member to see pricing, leave this unchecked.
• Permissions are unique and will grant access as described above. If team members need more than one permission, select all that apply.
